The Dollar Shop is within walking distance of several apt. communities. It is reminiscent of traditional mercantile. The store is Clean and neat, and the goods plentiful. The proprietors are wonder; warm,friendly and helpful. The merchandise is diverse and colorful. There is a bit of everything amassed in this relatively small space. There is cold milk and fresh bread,candy,gum,ice cream,soda, coffee, tea, cigarettes,clothing,shoes,school supplies and cleaning supplies. There are toys,knick-nacks,kitchen- wares,and household maintenance items, health and beauty aids, and gifts galore and rugs..beautiful rugs. It's a good place to spend some time shopping and buying from our local merchant. It's a blessing for those of us who do not drive or need a purpose for an afternoon walk.
