It also publishes professional books for engineers and managers through Artech House, a subsidiary of Horizon House Publications. Founded in 1969, Artech House is a leading publisher of books in the mobile communications, intelligent transportation systems, networking, software engineering, computer security, software quality, process improvement and microwave technology industries. Artech House and Horizon House Publications are headquartered in Norwood, Mass.
