Our painting process is designed to provide you with the best possible painting experience for your home or business. First, we will provide you with a detailed, itemized estimate for your project. We can optionally provide the services of a professional paint color consultant if you wish. Every project is carefully managed to ensure the painting process goes as smoothly as possible and is completed to specification and on schedule. Our painters are courteous, professional and regularly trained to ensure safe working practices. We will leave the work area organized and uncluttered at the end of each day. And we will provide you with regular updates over the duration to keep you informed on our progress. Fully licensed, bonded and insured. EPA lead-safe certified.

Business History

I started CertaPro Painters of Berkeley in 2004. It took me close to a year to create a business plan, and understand the complexities of running a business. To keep overhead low, I started out of my Mother's garage. This worked out for a little under a year, until she was through with having crews show up at 7am every day. We opened an office in 2005. After graduating from UC Davis in 2000, I spent countless hours in the field, learning the business and just what it takes to run a successful painting company. Also to learn what motivates employees. This is an interesting business, it seems very simple from the outside, but has many complications. It all comes down to effective employee management. My goal is to provide an exemplary workplace for my employees, so they can provide impeccable customer service and quality workmanship in turn.
