I called Dean to have my Baldwin upright cleaned and refinished.

I had the piano picked up from one residence and delivered to my new residence.

Everything was perfect.

The gentlemen that picked up and delivered the piano were professional and extremely, extremely careful.

The piano came back clean, refinished, in tune and looking better than it has since I’ve owned it for the past 8 years.

Thank you Dean and Nathan and his moving guys.

We called them to move an upright piano from a 2nd floor condo, to a 1-story house.

They were very professional, packed the piano with care, moved very slowly and carefully down the 17 steps, and unloaded the piano to its new location without incident.

They made sure the piano was put together and played properly, before I signed my invoice. I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving a piano.

Totally dishonest, and unprofessional .Calls and emails went unanswered. Promises and commitments were not honored. After showing up the first day and realizing they needed another guy to Do the job, I was promised on 3 additional days they would bring enough guys and get the move done. Each time we waited a good part of the day until Dean finally admitted they weren't going to make it. On the last day, after multiple promises of a phone call and a pick up time, I finally accepted no one was ever coming from Dean Palmers company. I firmly believe that when he realized it was a slightly more difficult move than he first thought, he had no intention of honoring our agreement, He wasted my time and the time of my family and friends who had offered help to wait at each of the locations . Horrible experience, do NOT use Grandmasters!

Its been months since the owner purchased a piano from us, however after countless phone calls asking where payment is, and reassurances each time, it's either 'on it's way', or 'about to be sent', it appears Mr. Palmer has still not fulfilled his word.

They were terrible moving my piano. I'll give you just the facts.

I bought a piano and the seller hired Grandmasters to deliver it. The moving truck showed up at my home in the rain. When I urged the three men to allow me to move my cars out of the driveway so they could back right up to my garage, they refused. Before I could speak, they had unloaded my piano into the street, in the pouring rain.

They wheeled it into my driveway and were trying to dodge my car to get the piano into the garage. If I had not been there, they would have damaged my car. Only my presence and eye kept them from doing so......all because they were in a hurry and wouldn't allow me to move my car.

They used no floor protectors or blankets. They hoisted the piano and dolly onto my beautiful marble floors. They used no floor protectors. As they wheeled the piano dolly to the piano location, they prepared to remove the piano from the dolly. Again, they used no covering on my marble floor. I again stopped them and insisted they use blankets as they lowered my piano to the floor. I had to provide the blankets.

The piano was not properly wrapped and protected. They manhandled the fall board as it flopped open and closed, unsecured. Their hands were dirty. The legs were not wrapped and protected, nor was the pedal lyre. They chipped my pedal lyre, and my fall board. They put the wrong bolts into the legs when affixing them onto the piano.

Each time I tried to stop them, to no avail. The lead mover reeked of smoke, and had a harsh attitude and unprofessional appearance and demeanor. Finally, I ordered him again to stop, and pointed out the lack of proper care and procedure in moving my piano. He decided to argue with me, and tell me that he made $800 per week moving pianos and that he knew better than I did what was acceptable. He told me he was proud of the great living he made and that it wasn't his problem if I wasn't satisfied. He was rude and combative. And incompetent.

After the men left, I called the owner of Grandmasters. He promised to follow up, and called me back shortly. He explained that the lead mover had a personal Issue that day, and he allowed him to go home to address it after speaking with him. He did not offer to help remedy the situation, nor did he offer to fix my piano. He didn't discount the fee, nor even give me a bottle of touch up paint. Nothing.

So, you have my review. It's up to you to decide if you want to do business with these people. I never will again. Ever.

Totally dishonest....on a baby grand piano move from FTL to Philadelphia there was $500 worth of damage from mishandling; delivered with with piano top broken off at hinge; also unauthorized charge to my credit card. Owner Dean Palmer agreed to restitution but just lies and lies. STAY AWAY.
