- FibromyalgiaKetamine infusions can help with many different types of chronic pain including complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), migraines/headaches, peripheral neuropathy, trigeminal neuralgia and fibromyalgia. Ketamine infusions have also been shown to help with anxiety and depression.

- Pediatric CareIt has been said that the profession of medicine is more art than science. When it comes to medication management, each physician has a unique approach to the medications that may or may not be recommended. While there are certain guidelines and standards that physicians use across medical disciplines, there is still plenty of room for individual treatment recommendations. I was originally trained as a family physician but have focused my practice in the pain management discipline since 2006. Prior to 2006, I practiced in various other medical disciplines which include the following: rural practice including obstetrics and pediatrics, inpatient hospitalist care, outpatient general medicine, addiction medicine, as well as performing various general medical procedures. I mention this because I have a broad background in medicine that allows me to look at the patient in pain from a very unique perspective.
- Primary CareAt Oklahoma Pain Center we believe in the team approach to managing chronic pain. This means we utilize the knowledge and skills of various healthcare specialists to ensure you receive the best and most complete treatment possible. This approach starts with your primary care physician who first examines you to determine the history and location of your pain, any previous treatments you have tried, how well you cope with pain, and any other factors that may currently be affecting your pain. People suffering from chronic pain may be referred to a pain specialist, like the physicians at Oklahoma Pain Center. Once you begin treatment, you may then be referred to various other specialists to create a multidisciplinary treatment team. These physicians work together to create and implement the best, well-rounded treatment plan for you.

- UltrasoundExosomes treatment may be an ideal option for patients with autoimmune diseases, chronic inflammation, and degenerative muscular, bone, or joint diseases. It may be implemented as part of a larger treatment plan that includes ultrasound or frequency therapy and involves administering a concentrated amount of exosomes into the body intravenously. The specific treatment is unique to each patient.
- MRIOur physicians are specialists, so our facility requires a referral from any doctor currently treating you for pain. Your doctor will need to include what we will be treating you for, his/her last 3 office notes, and any diagnostic reports related to your pain (i.e. MRI, CT, X-Ray, Lab work, etc.). Please do not send diagnostic films or discs.
- SciaticaSpinal cord stimulation is used to treat many different chronic pain conditions including sciatica, low back pain, failed-back surgery syndrome, chronic regional pain syndrome, and peripheral neuropathy. The device delivers an electrical current to your spinal cord to alter the pain signals.
- Knee ReplacementThis procedure treats knee pain by using thermal energy to lesion the nerves that supply the knee. This can treat pain from osteoarthritis or persistent pain after knee replacement.
- Physical TherapyI will next give you a synopsis of a patient situation that I see all too commonly. The patient is in their 40s or 50s and has attempted numerous interventional procedures (epidurals, radio frequency nerve ablations, etc.) perhaps even a spine surgery or two all in an attempt to “fix” their condition and avoid long term medication. Of course, physical therapy has been attempted as well as possibly chiropractic treatments and various other modalities in an attempt to get back to “normal.” By the time a patient like this sees me for a first-time consultation, they may be struggling with depression or worse and can be hanging on by a thread emotionally and psychologically. They of course try to live daily the best they can and try not to burden those around them with their struggle. The medication they are on typically is marginally effective especially if they have been on it for several years or longer. I employ every available treatment modality in the medical arsenal to try and help the patients I see. I approach the patient not only from a physical standpoint, but spiritually as well as psychologically and emotionally. All dimensions of a person must be addressed to achieve adequate pain control in the chronic pain sufferer. If this sounds familiar, there is hope. Consider a consultation.
- Tennis ElbowPRP has been revolutionary in treating chronic injuries, which are most common among athletes and active individuals alike. PRP is the most effective in treating a jumper’s knee, tennis elbow, and tears in the rotator cuffs. Due to the poor blood flow to the tendons, these injuries are typically quite tough to heal; PRP helps in concentrating the platelets at the location of maximum damage and helps the tissue regenerate more quickly.
- Shoulder Pain
- Back Pain
- Plantar FasciitisThese injuries can span from pulled hamstrings, pulled or strained thigh muscles, and plantar fasciitis to early tearing of the tendons. PRP cures these injuries with relative ease and works faster than other traditional procedures, which are ineffective at curing them completely.
