- BankruptcyTitanic disaster brought against the ship's designer. Although his experience has been primarily concentrated in trial practice, Mr. Love has a significant transactional background as well. The largest non-litigation matter for which he has been responsible was the restructuring of the $49,000,000.00 indebtedness which was owed to a consortium of lenders, led by Seattle-First National Bank and Northern Trust Company. The property involved was considered the prime commercial office building in central Oklahoma. Following extensive negotiations with the lenders, and obtaining the approval of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Mr. Love's client purchased the Notes, Mortgages and other debt and security instruments, restructured the same, and acquired a purchase option on the office building. After exercising its option several years later, his client realized a significant gain on its investment in the building. Mr. Love practices in the areas of product liability litigation, pharmaceutical litigation, and complex commercial and bankruptcy litigation, and has been attorney of record in numerous published cases.
