Absolutely the best place to tan in Omaha! They have beds for all skin types! If you don’t like monthly memeberships (which I don’t) they offer a point system that’s perfect for the sporadic tanner like myself! Favorite tanning place ever!
This place is amazing!!!!! Always there to help you out and tell you exactly what you need to do!! There beads are the best! And I have never gotten a better spray tan! I have been going to them since I could tan and have tried other places but they just don't compare
Don't tan here! I've been spray tanning and tanning for years. I've never had a worse spray tan! I had orange streaks down my legs, arms and feet. It was horrible and looked completely unnatural (which has never been a problem before at other tanning places). This was my first experience at California Bronze Tanning Center. Unfortunately, I was in a wedding that weekend also.
When I asked for my money back for the future tans that I bought, they said that it was store policy to not give refunds. The manager told me they would rather have an unhappy customer than give a refund. They would let me use it as store credit towards something else, but why would I want to go back there? Don't make the same mistake that I did!
I have been going to this salon since they opened, used to have a different name. I loved it then, now everytime I go in there I feel as if I am not good enough for them. They are always trying to sell me different lotion (mine isn't good enough or something) or a package. I don't have the heart to tell them after my points are up i'm out of there! They are just very rude and I never get a smile out of them. Im a hairstylist and the way they act,I definitely notice. They need some happier girls in there or the old owners back, they were over the top nice!
One of my favorite parts of the day is going to california bronze to tan. The beds rock, the girls are really, very friendly and knowledgeable. They keep my lotion and eyewear in back for me (might not sound like that big of a deal, but I used to always forget them and have to buy samples) Anyway, what really matters to me when choosing a tanning salon is the results, and these beds really impressed me, I didn't know I could tan so fast! I also tried their airbrush once, though it's not my cup of tea, I did get really good color (i just really like to lay in the beds and relax). If your looking for a place to tan, check these guys out first, I've tanned at tons of different places and it would take twice as long to get results!
I also had the $7 for 7 days but when I came in they had a special going on, free tanning for 3 days. This is great but I brought in my coupon, $7 for 7 days. She wouldn't let me use it, this was the special. There is no fine print on the coupon saying I cannot use it at the time of other specials. It was very disappointing!
I'm a mom of two beautiful children and this is something I was really looking forward to, yes, tanning, sad. But obviously the girls working there, I assume it was the manager, short hair, not nor caring for their customers. I came from another place that was more laid back but the owner was so friendly, and so were the girls that worked there that were yes, young but polite.
Suggest saving your time and shop around. Sad that a business in a great location has a rude staff. And I agree that it stems from the manager.
Their Spray Tans are Amazing. I was urged by a friend to check this place out, and to be honest, I didn't like the idea of being sprayed by a person. I am so glad I listened to my friends! I looked absolutely amazing. I am a customer for life. I would never take the chance of orangeyness or streaks by going anywhere else. The spray did have a slight smell, but was completely gone after I showered the next morning, and totally worth it for such great, dark but still natural looking color.
I looove Cali Bronze beds! They are super fast and super strong. Most importantly though, it is VERY clean (I'm a bit of a germaphobe.) The girls are the nicest in town and so helpful. I haven't tried their spray tans yet, but if they're anything like the beds, I'm sure I'll love it, I'll let you guys know.

Best tanning salon in town, hands down. Super clean, amazing beds, amazing results. Highly recommended. Great airbrush tanning too.
their tanning beds are amazing so is their lotion i get darker with one session! i love it!
I tan at California Bronze & love it! I also bought a buy 1 get 1 free spray tan & looked beautiful for my friends wedding. I was so nervous I think I asked 100 questions. The girl was very patient & explained exactly what I needed to do to make my spray last. My experience was great & I would recommend for anyone to try California Bronze.
i LOVE california bronze. i've had nothing but exceptionally amazing spray tans and their tanning beds are intense! i did the seven tans for seven dollars. as far as the first comment, if you looked so terrible with your "cheetah " spray, A. why would you leave a salon looking like that without first asking them to correct it? B. why would you go back for a free one?!!
If you want a beautiful bronze tan, spray or tanning bed, with the customer service of a 5-star business, and a facility that is as clean as a whistle, you might have better luck with someone opening the side of their van near a homeless shelter. This place was absolutely awful.
I don't have enough space in this review to write about how terrible it was. First off, if you have an experience with Jenny (the manager) you might feel suicidal thoughts brewing. She's a psycho...really. She should be working on video games where she doesn't have to have any interaction with the real world, because she is rude, condescending, and downright uneducated. I purchased a buy-one-get-one-free spray tan, and the compressor broke right before my turn (too bad for the girl who only got half a spray tan). I was told that could have my appointment for free. I went in the next day and came out looking like a cheetah. Then, Jenny the Terrible Manager, claimed that I owed for my next tan after I already paid for one, got one free, and was allowed another free one because of the compressor issues. She constantly interrupted me on the phone when I was trying to explain my situation. She also had the audacity to call me a liar.
I would not even recommend this facility to my worst enemy. It is that terrible. I will be contacting the BBB, in hopes that others don't have to go through what I went through. Thanks for nothing, California Bronze.
They have a coupon out offering 7 tans for $7 - Do NOT go here! They give you the broken sucky beds after waiting for a minimum of 30 mins. They try to convince you that the mirrors will still tan you even though they know the face tanners are broken and they are not getting them fixed. The standup is missing bulbs and overheats all the time. The girls are less than friendly and not accommodating at all. This company has no business being in a prestigious shopping area such as Legacy, they belong some place where a name like "tans R us" would be more fitting! Zero stars!!!

I have been to many salons here in Omaha, but when I went to Elite, I was impressed. One thing I love was that it was very clean. Also, the staff there is knowledgeable about the science of tanning and was genuinely interested in helping me personally get a healthy tan. Right after, I was able to brag to my friends that I tan in the only salon in the Midwest with America's Largest and Strongest tanning bed! (IT IS HUGE!) I now call that salon MY favorite place to tan. Don't take my word for it, you have to check it out for yourself!!!!
I have been tanning for ages and these girls know more about tanning than anyone I have ever met...they really blew me out of the water. I feel comfortable asking them any question and getting a honest answer. They helped me pick out the best package for my needs and gave me tips to keep it longer, get rid of white spots (and what they are) and to tan faster!! I am so happy with my tanning salon.
I was very impressed with this place from the second I walked in. The place is beautiful and the staff was so NICE and helpful!! They have the most impressive beds!! And compared to alot of places in Omaha they are priced well for what you get. I received so much color from their beds, I will never go anywhere else!! Plus they have the best lotions there that you can't find anywhere else. Stop in, you won't regret it!
