The process began by soliciting bids from three reputable contractors. Ron Schabes was the ONLY one who responded swiftly in a professional manner. He won the contract. His down to earth style inspires confidence and trust. He patiently answered all the usual concerns of a homeowner (real or imagined) and offered positive suggestions regarding other structural issues not considered.



Prior to installation day, the only thing required of us was to move the car from the garage because that was the optimal location for the dumpster which collected the old roof materials. Then his highly experienced team went to work. They quickly stripped off the old roofing and repaired all weather damaged areas. One of the crew members continually patrolled the periphery, picking up refuse. He used a parking lot size magnet to capture stray nails (critical if you have pets, which we do).



Then new materials were beautifully installed in short order. All structural challenges were handled with the calm assurance of seasoned professionals. The entire project took only a day and a half. Cleanup was thorough and complete. Zero residual presence.

5-10-2011- I just hired Ron Schabes Roofing Company to install a new roof and gutters on my house last week. This company does excellent work. The workers were quick (roof completely stripped and installed in 8 hours), meticulous and professional. I am so satisfied with the results. They are truly an outstanding company. This last weekend, my roof (only a few days old) was accidentally sprayed with wasp spray directly on the shingles and stained a small portion of my brand new roof. I was so upset. I called Ron to ask if he could go out to inspect it. He called me within an hour told me that his crew was on their way to repair the stained shingles and replace them with brand new shingles. It was our mistake but Ron (a class act guy) immediately rectified my situation. And he didn’t even charge me for my mistake. I am so pleased with this company. So, I highly recommend Ron Schabes Roofing Company. They are an outstanding and exceptional company. I wish I could give him 10 stars because he deserves it. Finally, don’t ever spray wasp spray directly on your shingles….it stains!
