Located in Oshkosh, Wis., Read Elementary School serves students in prekindergarten through fifth grade and is a part of the Oshkosh Area School District. The school offers special programs to students with albinism, hearing impairments, and speech and language development disabilities. In addition, it organizes classes in the English as a Second Language program. Read Elementary School also organizes an after-school care and tutoring program, which is sponsored by the YMCA. The school provides opportunities to students to participate in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and fourth- and fifth-grade intramurals.
