My partner and I have been using Flanary Veterinary Clinic (FVC) for over five years. Dr. Flanary, Dr. Rushing, and the rest of the FVC team is knowledgeable, committed and compassionate. I have personally watched the work go home with them at night and yet they return the next morning ready to tackle other challenges so our fur-children can have the life we all want for them. They go an extra mile to solve a problem and when the time comes for our fur-children to make their journey beyond, FVC grieves with you. If you are looking for vaccinations for your dog, boarding, or emergency care in western Kentucky, I recommend FVC.

First, let me say that Dr. Flanary is not my normal vet. Last year, my 4 month old puppy broke one of her front leg elbows and growth plate on the same leg. When I called my regular vet's office, I was given Dr. Flanary's number as she was the doctor on call in Paducah. She told me that "puppies" don't break bones, which is completely untrue. X-rays clearly showed that my dog had broken bones. We ended up having to take the dog to St. Louis to see an orthopedic specialist and paid $1500 for the procedure to fix the bones that Dr. Flanary said "weren't broken." Any doctor who says that a puppy can't break a bone, especially without even seeing or taking x-rays, is a doctor that I would avoid at all costs.
