Great place enjoyed the food and service was fine

i've been to other cracker barrel locations that were terrific, this location isn't!
this was my 2nd trip to the panama city, fl location. the crowd was smaller, but still noisy. the waitstaff were more attentive to my companion asking several ties if he needed more coffee. i
i had a diet soda and it took 3 requests to get an empty to go cup for the remainder of my drink. the 3rd request for a cup was made when i gave up and headed to the exit with my glass.
we ordered the old timers breakfast. the biscuits were nasty and gravy DID NOT improve the taste. my eggs were cooked the way i ordered them [yay] but were small in size [boo]. the grits were bland and i get a bigger serving from an individual packet of instant grits.
i would recommend they hire a new cook.
we would have gotten better food elsewhere.
my companion likes this place, so unfortunately, i'll be coming back.
