After working 20 years in management in the retail food industry, Bob Couch was growing frustrated with working never ending long hours and spending little time with his family. He decided to cash in his vested retirement to begin a new career owning his own business. He saw an opportunity in the pressure washing industry and founded Hydra Pressure Washing, Inc. in 1999. He and his eldest son Bob III began primarily cleaning hood exhaust systems in the food industry and have branched out to cleaning exteriors and sidewalks, graffiti removal, as well as pursuing all aspects of residential cleaning. One thing that separates Hydra Pressure Washing, Inc. from its competition is that all of their machines heat the water to 200 degrees providing a much cleaner result. Bob still works long hours, but he is almost always working with at least one family member since both his sons, Bob III and Jake work by his side while his daughter, Amanda runs the office. And last, but certainly not least, Bob's wife Gail, who is the president of the company, and although she works primarily behind the scenes, she is never shy when it's time for her to put her two cents worth in providing common sense answers to everyday issues. Our business philosophy is nothing new. We believe in the Golden Rule. We treat our employees, and our customers as well as their property, the way that we expect to be treated. If we make a mistake, we apologize and correct the problem.
