Dr. Jill Meyer For over 30 years, Dr. Meyer has been treating the eye care needs of adults and children throughout Pelham and surrounding areas with great pride and compassion. She has garnered multi-generations of loyal patients that love what she brings to the doctor-patient relationship and she looks forward to meeting and exceeding each patients’ expectations of good eye health. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Emory University and her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama School of Optometry. She has been in private practice since 1985. Dr. Fred B. Setzer For over 30 years, Dr. Setzer has specialized in the diagnostic and treatment of eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye syndrome, primary eye care, and contact lens management of all ages. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. He has served as both Assistant Professor and Director of Continuing Education for the UAB School of Optometry. He has been private practice since 1991. Dr. Rena C. Lewis For over 20 years, Dr. Lewis has specialized in pediatric optometry, primary eye care, and contact lens management of all ages. She received her undergraduate degree from Birmingham-Southern College in 1982, her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 1986, and she completed the University of Alabama School of Optometry's first residency in Pediatric Optometry in 1987. She served as Assistant Professor of Pediatric Optometry at University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry from 1992-1997 and has been in Private Practice since 1987.
