Nope, not this place. Please NO!

PLEASE LISTEN...

DO NOT send your child here.

1).  They're located in a little alley way - without a sign.  I walked right by this place several times and no one in the area was able to point me in their direction.  I finally had to call them and someone met me out front.  About 15-feet from the daycare is a juvenile detention center - young men stand outside smoking, talking, etc. - right across from the children.  Maybe this is why the daycare hid their sign.  (none of this dawned on me until AFTER I had enrolled my child here).

2).  After I enrolled my child and after dropping him off / picking him up for about 1-2 weeks, I started noticing how the inside of the place was like a dark little box.  It was the basement of a church with no windows.

3).  There's one "teacher" (babysitter) who watched over the children in my child 's group.  She had an earring in her tongue, earring in her belly button, (with a tight short blouse exposing her belly button) and when she turned around, from the back you could see a big tattoo on her lower back - and she wore tight spandex pants - she made sure she showed this to little children as well.  She wore lots of make-up as if she was going to work at a nightclub; not to a little daycare center.  What duh!?  (Note:  I didn't see her during my initial tour at the daycare.  After about a week or two, I began seeing her and I couldn't believe my eyes.  It was too late for me to take my child out of this place because I was working.  It didn't take me long - I just couldn't do it immediately like I wanted to.  I just had to keep explaining & answering all kinds of questions that my son asked me about her).  There were three other teachers / babysitters who worked there, and no one told her that her look was inappropriate.

---  I really could care less about how many tattoos and earrings a person has (in places other than the ears), but really?  Must you expose all that and spandex-fitting clothes to toddlers all day / every day?  WTF!?

---  they let the children fight and think its cute.  I was told by one of the teachers, "Your son and _______ torture each other.".  My son was not a fighter so I know he wasn't the torturer so I asked her to give me details.  Then I went to the so-called director ("babysitter") and told he to keep an eye out for any pushing / shoving between the two children.   That's when she must have told the other babysitters and they all became very sarcastic every day thereafter.

My 4-yr old son even told me one day after I picked him up, "Mommy, today Ms. __________ said to me 'Why you tell your mommy ________ was bothering you.  You know he was only playing with you.'"

My son was upset that I told the teacher to keep an extra eye on the two little boys because (as I was told), they torture each other.  My son was mad at me and said he was going to zip his lips from then on - meaning he wouldnt tell me anything else that went on at daycare.  (**so, because the teacher went behind my back & questioned my toddler son - making hom feel like a tattle tale - about a grown-up conversation, now he's scared to tell hos mommy about what takes place at the daycare because I might say something to someone and that someone might approach him when I'm not around.). WTF?!  I had to get my child O-U-T of this place.

---  the children sleep in sleeping bags on the dirty floor - no mats or little cots - the hard floor.

I think I've written enough.  I feel sorry for those children who still get dropped off every day at that place because they're learning about tattoos, tongue/belly rings, tight-fitting clothes, as well as who knows what else that's not part of the alphabet.

absolutely horrible - dark, dirty, dingy - children are plopped in front of a tv - or allowed ro run wild - i took my child out after only a week because as soon as he saw the door to the place he started to cry and grab hold of my leg - there is no structure whatsoever - the women are screaming at 2 year olds "sit against the wall" - it's an absolute disgrace -

My daughter has been going her since she was 18 months old she is now 4! These woman are my family! Thye care when she is there, they call me at home when she is not. She never wants to leave when its time to go! The place is always full of good energy. The curriculum is great my daughter is so far ahead and will be more than ready for kindergarten. I am so happy to have found Lil Miracles!

This center needs a MAJOR update. The carpets smell of cat urine and are very dirty and dingy. The play areas are poorly lit and lack up to date materials. The fact that television is incorporated into the day is quite disturbing and worst yet - the children sleep on the floor! No cot's just the blankets they bring from home to cover them up. I find that quite unsanitary considering the carpets smell really bad and look so filthy. I was immediately turned off by this centers gloominess and lack of brightness and cleanliness.

I sent both of children to this school and would recommend it for a loving and nurturing atmosphere. However, I would suggest that they find a new, more up-to-date facility with better parking. For the 6 years that I have known about them, they have always been kind and considerate towards my children, myself, and other parents even when I have come midday, unannounced.

Removing my child was the best decision I ever made!

They advertised themselves to be the best price in Center City but remember you get what you pay for. The place is in a basement and very dark. This wouldn't be a negative if the center was lit up well. The rooms that the children play in are small. The toys look dirty as if they are never cleaned. They let the tv babysit instead of entertaining the children.Though they ask you to bring in provisions for your child, they steal them and use them for other children and for themselves. I do not recommend this place to anyone.Only one woman smiles, the rest are obviously burned out and should have left the business long ago. Everyone is very nice to the parents but they scream at the children when you are not watching. I caught them off guard and saw for myself. Not a place for small children, well behaved children, loved children or concerned parents that understand the importance of child care and its impact on your childs development.
