- Real Estate LitigationMost of Mike’s litigation work involves partnership disputes, real estate disputes and, in particular, title disputes. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in these matters. In a complicated party wall case involving an apartment developer and an adjacent property owner, he successfully defended the property owner both at trial and on appeal in the Pennsylvania Superior Court. In a suit between a buyer and a seller of Main Line real estate, the buyer claimed that an error in the deed description meant that its bank could not foreclose on him. Philadelphia real estate attorney Mike Bomstein represented the seller in the quiet title case, winning the case both in court and on appeal.

- Bankruptcy
- ForeclosureProbably no one would have discovered the error except for one thing: Jim and Bruce had stopped making their monthly mortgage payments and had not paid anything for at least a few years. With an $850,000 mortgage, the arrearage was already very substantial. The bank, then, filed a mortgage foreclosure suit against them.
