Candy is a native of Idaho but loves living in Arizona where the weather is perfect for hiking and spending time with visiting family and friends.

- MurderIn 1973, John Henry Knapp was charged with two charges of arson-murder of his two daughters, aged 2 and 3, who burned to death in the family home in Mesa, Arizona. At the arraignment, Knapp was deemed indigent and was appointed counsel. A month later, Knapp’s mother hired a private attorney to assist the public defender. The county attorney argued that Knapp was entitled to either a public defender or private counsel, but not both.
- Juvenile CrimesAs a former Assistant Attorney General for Protective services, Deandra represented the Department of Child Safety (formerly knowns as CPS) in Dependency and Severance matters. After leaving the Attorney General’s Office, Deandra entered private practice where she has handled all aspects of Family and Juvenile law matters. Deandra grew up in Southern California and is a graduate of the University of California (Irvine). She is licensed to practice in both California and Arizona.

- Construction LitigationCriminal defense is in Sabra’s blood. Sabra believes in the importance of helping people during their toughest times. She has represented clients in all stages of their cases, from pre-charge investigation through jury trial, appeal, and post-conviction relief. Prior to making the switch, Sabra spent almost 6 years as a construction litigation attorney for one of the largest firms in the South. She travelled the world interviewing and deposing witnesses. She was mentored by a man that smoked two packs of cigarettes and drank two pots of coffee a day. He taught her to pay attention to the details and use her writing skills to win the battles. When she was not litigating, Sabra worked as the Legislative Director for the Alabama Senate, where she was able to hone her oral advocacy skills and realize the power of advocating for others.

This allowed Kaci to litigate a wide range of different matters – including construction defect, personal injury, dram shop violations, product liability, and commercial litigation. Ultimately inspired to refocus her career to help families, Kaci now uses this wide array of experience to develop dynamic strategies that lead to an efficient resolution of her client’s matters.

She obtained her certificate in Paralegal Studies in 2014 from Phoenix College. Prior to becoming a paralegal, Sara worked for GE Capital in various capacities. Although originally from Germany, Sara has lived in Arizona since high school. Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and staying physically active.
