Sure the lines can be long but it is worth the fun. Annual pass holders do stand in line so they can verify that the passes are still good. I have one. The vans are not in great condition but keep in mind you only drive it for one hour and you are surrounded by slobbery animals. The staff is very friendly and answers any questions that you may have. It is false that the animals are treated poorly I personally know people who care for the animals. In the drive in area certain animals are kept in enclosures because they can become aggressive like the rhino. An the giraffes are let out in the summer and spring season. They are put in a heating barn during winter because they cannot survive in degrees below 55f. So the best time to visit is in the spring summer and fall to see all the animals. The animals in the drive in section are fed with hay an more animal food after the park is closed. The animals in the walk section are fed on a daily or every other day bases depending on the type of animal it is. This place is very fun for people who enjoy animals and it is different every time you visit. Always a different story to tell. Be sure to buy a slobber towel!

Stay away: poorly managed, intolerable lines for tickets and even annual passholders have to wait in line to get a day ticket. Animals are fed rock hard food which you purchase, walk around a barren landscape with little or no grass or plantings. Rip off, frustrating, inhumane. Go to Noah's Ark Sanctuary in Locust Grove where they accept donations, feed the animals real food, and give them a green environment. Donated money there is well spent.

It was very sad for me to see all these animals living in these conditions. The animals stomach's are bloated from all the treats that people feed them and lots of animal feces around that doesn't look healthy. There is no kind of ground covering, just bare dirt and mud, Georgia clay. I feel like they don't feed them regular food because the animals run to every vehicle to be fed. Just doesn't make much sense. No animal should have to live in these conditions. I feel like these animals are being neglected and something needs to be done about it.! They will never get my business again. Its just so sad..
