Don's Appliance Don't accidentally hire this "Don's Appliance". Not the one you are looking for. This guy is criminally dishonest; unhelpful; and a total crook. He has the website 'donsappliances.com' listed as his on multiple websites. This is a fraud, as he is not affiliated with them whatsoever. Had him out to look at both my washer/dryer. after 25 mins he left with 90$ without so much as loosening a screw.. He said my dryer's control board was apparently shot and i would need a new appliance. FALSE; one 8$ thermal fuse and it is now fixed, no thanks to him. The washer he -stupidly- asserted was fine, though it had a visible wobble in front of both of us. I shouldn't have paid him, but i did, but then he had the audacity to laugh at & be rude to my housemate who called asking about a refund. Don't hire. He's a scammer. And an asshole.

I thought this was the Pittsburgh chain of the same name. It is not. I called and made an appointment. Don said someone would be there at ten and would call 20 minutes before arrival. By noon no one had called or showed up, so I called. I talked to Don again, he said he'd find out what the problem was and call right back. He never called back. I called 5 more times over the next 3 hours and it rang until it went to voicemail. My calls were never returned. I found another phone number for Don's Appliance online and talked to someone else. They were from the respectable business with the same name that I thought I was calling originally. Legit Don's sent someone out the next day. The number to call for the reputable chain is (724)916-0100. This guy is unprofessional.

Friendly on the phone, came out that day to fix my washer. Gave me options for repair- replacing or repairing part, fixed the part it, then checked it carefully to make sure it would work. Very reasonable, up-front with pricing.

I can't rate this service, because after making 2 different appointments, they never showed up. In the end, they did not even return my call and I had to seek out another repair service.
