Pleasant Hills Middle School is a part of the West Jefferson Hills School District, which operates elementary, middle and high schools. Established in 1965, Pleasant Hills Middle School serves more than 600 students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and language arts. The school also offers courses in computer science and technology education. In addition, Pleasant Hills Middle School supports a variety of student programs in art, music, physical education, home economics and industrial arts. It also conducts sessions in Spanish, French and Latin and provides special education programs for students with special needs. The school also supports several sports activities, including basketball, cross country, football, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field.
