I love this place! I take my kids here and they enjoy every second of the training. It is the only place they allow my 3 and 1/2 year old to participate in the lessons. I was a little iffy on 3 and 1/2 but its been 6 months and I can see an improvement in his listening skills, hand eye coordination, and focus. I would recommend it to anyone having trouble getting there kids to listen to them! I give it 5 stars and would give it 6 if i could.

My son has been taking kung fu here for 4 years and I've been taking kung fu and tai chi for just over two years. The instructors are patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Rothrock's if you're interested in improving your physical health, your focus and your self esteem. I am unsure why other reviewers are saying you have to pay for multiple years in advance. That has not been my experience in four years there. It's an option to pay in full for one year, but not required. Monthly payment plans also are available.

Payment options were quarterly or yearly and we opted for yearly to save money and the hassle of remembering to pay. We're pretty pleased with this place. We don't expect him to become a blackbelt overnight.

This Kung fu school is a joke. Yes, the instructor will try to cheat you out of money, and no, you won't learn very much kung fu -- as little as the instructor can get away teaching. Think about it: why would any reputable school require you to pay for 3 year's worth of training up front?

I took classes here for 3 years, up to black belt, and never have I been "cheated" out of any money. The price may be a little high, as I believe you have to sign a contract, which if you make payments on, can take 2-3 years to pay off. So I would only recommend it if you are serious about getting your black belt and getting the most out of it. I started taking classes there at 19, and while I was in classes I quit smoking and drinking, had a huge boost in stamina, strength and flexibility, confidence and, yes, concentration. If you take the classes seriously and respect your instructors knowledge, you will benefit from it. I would recommend it to anyone looking to seriously learn one of the oldest and most beautiful martial arts out there.

This is a very good place to get cheated. They make you sign the agreement and route all the payments thru collection agency. Any payments made directly to Rothrock's is not considered by the collection agency and you end up making double payments. Rothrock's & the collection agency will just disown any payments to the other party.I will recommend for those who are desparate to get cheated. As far as the classes go, your child will have good time to jump around but nithing as much as they promise on concentration , blah blah blah
