Alpha massage is the place to go when you are thinking about getting a massage. I highly recommend them!

A couple of years ago, I moved to Michigan from the East coast and to get to know the area we tried many different places for massages (day spas, hair salon/spas, massage therapists, etc.). We have paid top dollar and even went to a local massage school...all just left us wanting a really great massage! We thought it would have been an easy quest, but it wasn't.



Until I had an appointment at Alpha Massage with Teesha Baldwin. Seriously, she had technique that I had never experienced in my many years of getting massages and my recent round of trying most places in this area.



Teehsa put me in a zone...it was relaxing, tranquil and just amazing. Even the massage lotion that she used was better than anything I had experienced. I plan on telling everyone I can about her...if you want a massage...you have to call and book an appointment with Teesha.

For over 20 years I have experienced MANY massage techniques with many different therapist. The person who referred me to Alpha Massage gave a glowing recommendation. Since I was looking for a new therapist, I called Bryan at Alpha Massage for an appointment. The medical massage technique he uses was a new technique to me; and during the appointment I didn't feel like he did that much. But what I noticed at the end of the appointment, and at each one since then, was thata it was the ONLY time after a massage where my low back did not still hurt. I've had a weekly appointment for over a year and a half seeing such an improvement in the range of motion in my neck that I don't have to turn my entire upper body when I'm driving; I can now turn my head from side to side without pain. Plus I've enjoyed a reduction in low back pain. Bryan is professional, knowledgeable, and offers reasonable fees for massage therapy service.

I am very thankful to have found Alpha Massage. This is a terrific place to go whether it be for relaxation or for medical concerns.The staff has always been extra friendly and most importantly, professional. I was a little skeptical at first, being new to MI and being asked by my doctor to find a massage therapist to treat my physical pains. Alpha has really taken any "worry" away. They are extremely affordable and have different packages, whether you are looking for long term or short term care. The best thing is, I don't feel like you give up quality for affordability with this place. I would highly recommend Alpha Massage to anyone.

What a gift Alpha Massage has been for our daughter. Diagnosed with a debilitating chronic mental illness, she has suffered for more than 10 years with an inability to relax and/or sleep. Although she was apprehensive, as most teens would be, Bryan has gained her trust and her weekly massage has become a highlight of her week. Alpha Massage is clean, professional, and most importantly to me, takes time to understand any specific needs and concerns a client may have. Of all the treatments, including psychotropic meds, sleep studies, individual therapies, and years of trying new things, I am seeing a change in my daughter because she has found one hour in her chaotic life each week when she can let go of all stress and relax. That is something I had come to believe I would never get to see. Again, Alpha Massage is a gift to give your soul and everyone should treat themselves to such a wonderful gift!!

Alpha Massage in Portage is THE best place to receive a massage. It serves as an exemplary model of how all massage therapy practices should be. Staff is friendly, very clean, and you can choose from relaxation or clinical techniques. Music is added in the background as a delightful finishing touch. Highly recommend.
