I have a background in working on cars but still felt I needed an independent set of eyes to inspect a newer vehicle purchase. After searching for an inspector online I came across PDXInspections.com. After reading all of the reviews and watching the KATU video, and others, I contacted Josh. He did everything as promised, from the initial contact with the customer, appointment set up, through final completion and emailing me the results. Because of Josh's diligence, I passed on purchasing the first vehicle Inspected. With the information he gave me in the first inspection, I was able to vet out a better choice for the second inspection. His report reassured me that my second choice would be a better vehicle. First and foremost, thank you for the excellent service. While we haven't yet decided whether or not to purchase the 2005 Tahoe you inspected for us, the information you provided was extremely valuable. There is no way we would have been able to determine the potential problem with the heads or head gasket without your technical expertise. Josh was able to use his 5 gas exhaust analyzer and actually pick up signs of carbon Dioxide in the coolant overflow tank. And, as it turns out, there was a Technical Bulletin from GM about this problem and the potential for porous heads, which have been known to crack. This is a $3000-$4000 repair job, which not only would have drained our bank account, but would have left us without a vehicle for two weeks. We now have the information we need to negotiate with the owner and/or have the vehicle inspected further for the suspect heads. In a word.............INVALUABLE!
