Providence Oral Oncology and Oral Medicine is uniquely dedicated to caring for patients with a wide range of oral health issues, including management of oral side effects from cancer therapies; evaluation and treatment to prevent oral infections during cancer treatment; consultation prior to cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, anti-resorptive therapy and transplants); diagnosis and treatment for oral lesions (cancer and non-cancer); medical management of oral dermatologic and autoimmune conditions; oral and facial pain syndromes; temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD/TMJ); and nerve and movement disorders (neuropathic pain, burning mouth syndrome, cervical headache, trismus).
