Very friendly to work with, I have received several good references from friends and family who has gotten several puppies from The Butlers, and none have had any of the bad experiences that were mentioned before, they were very professional, polite and courteous and provided great info.

My husband purchased a 10 week old miniature schnauzer from Butlers Kennel after we lost our 16 year old mini schnauzer. When he went to see the puppy, he asked to see the mother and was told she was at her daughters house because she gets upset when the puppies leave. He purchased the puppy on 9/29/15. On 10/5/15, he started throwing up. We took him to the vet the next morning and was told he had Parvovirus. Our vet immediately started IV's with meds. We transferred him to the critical care vet where he remained for 6 days. We contacted Ms Butler the same day he was diagnosed and told her she needed to contact the other owners. We asked for a refund of the purchase price and at first she said to bring the dog back & she'd refund us. At which point we had already spent $2,000 and that was in one day!! She then agreed to mail us a check, to which we still haven't received. I wish I would have read the reviews on this company before purchasing from them. At least we were able to save one dogs life!!

I bought a Yorkie from them and she was aggressive and was getting huge when I was told the parents were 5 lbs. I complained and finally they traded the dog for a smaller one. 3 & 1/2 years later, she started having problems, running into things, scared of everything so I took her to the vet. She is completely blind. Took her to a neurologist and she has fluid in her head which the Dr says has probably been there since birth, a large cyst on her brain, meningitis, and two spots of inflammation on her brain and is totally blind. She has up to one year to live. I contacted the Butlers to find out any info on the parents or her siblings. I never received papers on this dog and now I am getting no response from the Butlers. I have tried and they won't return my emails. I am heartbroken. Sasha is my baby and I have now spent over $3600.00 to find out she is going to die. DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE...

After complaining to them abou...

After complaining to them about the sickly dog and the fact that it IS NOT in any way a pure Yorkie as they claimed- they offered half my money back. Breeding ethics calls for a full refund- I think. I instead opted for a different dog stating that this one should be a real Yorkie- and they did not deliver. Now, it has been almost a year since I got these dogs and they are some of the smelliest, ill tempered animals I have ever seen. They are nothing like the real Teacup Yorkie we got in Texas- who is sweet and smells good even when dirty. These animals have similar coloring as a yorkie, but one looks like a cross between a Yorkie, and a Chihuahua (sp?) and the meanest one looks like he has some sort of mongrel terrier in him. These animals are proof these people are perpetrating fraud- in my case. As for what Mr. Mahon said I can say he is lying now, or was lying to me when I bought these animals because he said they came from a women in the western part of the state. In short- if people will not let you see the parents- then don't do business with them. I would have loved to write something positive here instead, they have Christan paraphenalia all over their trailor, but I felt a duty to warn the public.

Ripped 2

I bought what they said was a Yorkie. It looked sick when I got him and I asked what is wrong- they said his hair will grow in eventually. It never did and this dog is obviously not a Yorkie even if they gave me papers from this outfit that looks like a Rip Off too- Continental Kennel Club. They also told me they were selling it for a friend and the parents were no on site. The animal had ear mites and was sickly, was not the breed we wanted and they said they had. In all, I think what they are doing is possibly criminal.

I bought a dog from them that they said was a Yorkie. It looked odd, but they said that his hair would grow in within a few months. It never did. He had ear mites too. They said they are selling him for a friend and gave me papers from Continental Kennel Club that turns out to be possibly fraudulent company too. The dog is definately NOT A YORKIE! I would not recommend this place, and I think what they are doing is possibly criminal activity as well. Lastly, they are lying to people by telling them their dogs are pure breeds- and in their Trailer they have lots of Protestant Christian sayings and items related to Christians. I urge them to consider their actions and what it shows to the world not to mention their own souls. I pray for them

This Kennel is a front for Back Yard Breeders/Puppy Milsl!

We bought a puppy from this kennel. The owner said she was "selling it for a friend" and that she had never actually seen the puppy's mother, herself. The puppy turned out to have generalized Demodectic mange, which, our vet says it could only have acquired at birth from its mother, and which showed up when the puppy turned 4 months of age. We have spent hundreds of dollars in veterinary bills. The rule of thumb in breeding ethics is that females with Demodectic mange should NEVER be allowed to breed, since the offspring are inevitably contaminated and have compromised immune systems. We suspect that Butler Kennels is a front for a puppy mill or a backyard breeder with no ethics. This Kennels 'resources' should be investigated. Buyer, beware!
