Had a 2001 Ford F-150 King Ranch 4x4 transmission rebuilt by these guys and it runs like a brand new one. Excellent power, smooth shifting. I recommend Allen Robbins to everyone.

Excellent transmission service, thanks Allen and crew!
My family was coming back from Gulf Shores and our transmission went out. We were towed to Ford Dealer in Mongomery. They quoted us $3300.00 to replace transmission. I contacted Allen Robbins through a tip from a local towing service. Allen told me he thought it didnt require replacement, said it was a common problem for Mercury Sables and he thought it would be around $650.00 to repair. Said at worst would be around 1300.00 . Much better than what dealer said.
Towed car to his shop. They had it ready at 1130am next morning. Bill was for $780.95 which was 600 for torque converter , 129.95 for labor and 51.00 tax.
Great service from an Honest Repair shop. Allen told us that whenever he sees a stranded motorist that he puts them at the front of the line considering they are losing alot of money if they cant get to where they are going.
If we had followed Ford Dealers advice we would been out an additional 2500.00 dollars.
I will always recommend this business.

I highly recommend this shop. We were coming back from Gulf Shores from our July 4th vacation in 2008. Our car's transmission went out and we were towed to the Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership in South Montgomery,AL. They kept us there for 7 hours and took only 10 minutes to give us a $3300.00 estimate to replace the entire transmission (they said it was shot). I called another wrecker service to pull the car home and they recommened Allen Robbins. I called Allen and told him what happened with the car. He told me that he was sure it was much lesser problem and would cost around $650.00 to repair. He said that even if the trans was bad that it would be less than half of what the dealership charged. We had the car towed to his shop by 5pm. They stayed and looked at it and had it repaired by 1130 am. It only cost $600.00 for the part and 129.00 labor for a total of around 735.00. They picked us up at our hotel with our car. It works great and we saved 2500.00 by using him. Great job!!!!!
