My Dad Called Him on Monday (12/18/14), this is what he had to say:

"On Monday early afternoon I was given a recommendation by Danny at the Maverick Harley Davidson dealership to use Wayne with Strictly Cycles Insurance. I talked to Wayne on the phone and after telling him I was with Progressive Insurance I was told he would be lower in cost than them.

Since I did not have my VIN number for my second motorcycle with me, he told me to call him later that day or the next day with the information. He told me his quote was $390 for the new Harley and $20 for the extra bike, liability only. He then gives me a total of $414 (instead of the expected $410). I figured there must be some extra cost in the paperwork. I called him that evening and got voice mail. I left him all the information that he asked for and my name and number.

He called me back the next morning because he "saw that I called last night." He didn't have any information that I had left him. I reminded him we talked the day before and he tells me he doesn't remember me because he wrote 300 policies yesterday.

Once he has my name, he gets out my file and I again give him all of the information he asks for. He then gives me a new total of $418. I tell him how I will pay for the policy, but, say "Not to quibble, but why does the policy keep going up in price?" He started to explain about a $2 charge here and there and suddenly tells me he doesn't need the money that bad. Tells me a rude tone of voice to stay with the insurer that I am with and then hangs up on me.

I ended up calling Progressive to add my new bike to my policy and find that the price through Progressive is $306 for the new Harley and $10 more for the second bike.

I question this agent's ethics and professionalism and wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy."
