Greater Adirondack Home Aides is a professional home care organization providing personal care and supportive services to clients and their families throughout Warren, Washington, Saratoga and surrounding counties in New York. Established in 1965, it is a nonprofit agency licensed by the New York State Department of Health. Located in Glens Falls, N.Y., it offers assistance with total personal care, including bathing, dressing, ambulation, feeding and exercises. It provides short-term care, including assistance with activities of daily living following an illness and hospitalization. It offers respite care to individuals whose primary caregivers need some time to take care of themselves. Its meal preparation services include shopping, cooking and preparation of a special diet. Its other services include shopping, light housekeeping and laundry.
