My business wasted so much money on the EBA financing product. First they sell you on entering into a nonrefundable lease agreement for use of the equipment. The "equipment" turned out (after delivery) to be a low end android tablet with an EZ pay app on it which is used to process the loan financing. We were not offered an option to just purchase the app because we were led to believe that there was actual equipment needed. The payments to lease the "equipment" was over $200 per month which did not include the additional fees and monthly minimum fees if there are no loans processed in any given month. After paying on the lease for a year, we decided to do a lease buyout and return the tablet since none of our customers opted for the loan financing because the loan fees were too high and EBA did not provide customers with the option to make monthly payments by debit or credit card. Customers were only offered ACH checking account drafts to make loan repayments. All in all it was a waste of money. It appears EBA makes their money off of the businesses by way of charging ridiculous fees to lease a tablet and additional money is made off of the customers by way of the loan fees. Customer service was also lacking from the lender and leasing companies that support this product. Also, this "lease" ended up being a trade line on the business owner's personal credit report after being told by EBA that there would only be a soft credit inquiry. BEWARE

EBA Financial helped my animal clinic retain the 7 out of 10 applicants that were turned down through care credit with a ez pay no credit check payment plan. Also for the visits that come in after hours, I am now able to accept checks in the middle of the night and not worry about NSF's any longer.
