I ordered a Groupon for this company, 4 rooms cleaned $65, which is a phenomenal deal when getting carpets cleaned. The "co-owner" showed up on time but his appearance was unprofessional and ratty looking. The van was unmarked, unclean and older. After trying a few times to get their equipment working they began "cleaning" my carpets. When walking through the finished job I noticed areas that did not come clean by their methods. I spoke with the co-owner about it but got the response that it was just how bad off my carpets were. My carpets may be 7 years old but by no means are they that bad off. I took photos of the areas after they left, then I got out the old Hoover steam cleaner that we usually use around the house for spills etc. and went to work. Everything came out just fine which made me feel duped by this company. Having a professional carpet cleaning company show up with the proper equipment and clean your house for $65 is an exciting thought to say the least. It certainly caused us to forget about the old Hoover and role the dice with Encore. BTW, they never returned my wife's call when she left a message regarding this concern. The man driving a van with the Encore Carpet Care emblazoned on the side, threw coffe onto my windshield during morning rush hour. I honked at him becasue he was sitting at a green light. If he loses his temper with such a minor annoyance, what would his anger be like if a dispute arises regarding the work that he's done? Scary.
