Needed a water pump on the 5.9 Cummins in my RV. One of the bolts broke off in the block and I couldn't extract it. Otherwise I would have done the repairs myself. Got towed to Eddie's Truck Repair. They are a Cummins qualified dealer among others. VERY BUSY place. It took three days to get my RV in the shop. They take care of locals and contract businesses first. Two days later I got back on the road and the cost was much more than I expected. If you need quality parts and service OK, if you want fast and affordable repairs don't stop there.

In eary October of 2014 my motor home threw a check engine light in Rapid City, SD., we took it to Eddie's Truck Center to get it diagnosed & repaired. They fixed what they thought was wrong and shut off the light, at an hourly rate too high for my warranty to accomodate and sent me on my way. 300 miles later the exact same check engine light re-occurred. After another $2k at a new shop, the problem ARD head was replaced and 2000+miles later the problem has not re-occurred When I asked Eddie's to cover re-doing the diagnostics ,($270), on the same problem at a new shop, under their warranty, they simply declined. These guys do "ok" work, but they are very expensive and one shouldn't expect much from their warranty.
