I wanted to say I appreciated being able to talk with the owner and reschedule. Ultimately, staff did an exceptional job of delivering the appliances and moving stuff. I am changing my 1 star review to 4 stars.

Previous 1 star review: After actually waiting 6+ weeks for 2 appliances from I ordered from Sears Outlet, a delivery was scheduled for July, 28, 2017. I confirmed the delivery time, and confirmed with the company over the phone the amount of time needed for delivery, and moving appliances. She told me hiring them for 1.5 hours would not be an issue, and she would double check and contact me if there was an issue. I also agreed to pay their hourly rate for up to two hours of services at $95 per hour.

After arriving and going over the itinerary, the delivery person said they had only 1 hour. I asked what would happen if it takes more than an hour? He just repeated "we only have 1 hour". I then said once again, but what if it takes more than an hour to move appliances to the other house, etc? Concerned, I said "are you just going to leave my stuff in the middle of the street" if takes longer than an hour? He just repeated, "we only have an hour". This made the situation very uncomfortable.

When I called the scheduler after this mess, she didn't acknowledge the agreement we had regarding the time needed for delivery and moving appliances. Instead, she accused me of telling their driver that I was going to "keep the drivers there" for 2 hours for no reason? Suprised at this accusation style response, I told her I never told the driver that, and "what would I want to do that for" anyway? I simply repeated that I had confirmed with her that the job might take 1.5 hours as we talked many times about this. She said, "you'll have to call back on Monday". Then she actually hung up on while I was asking her to reschedule.

I have called back Monday twice and was directed to leave voicemails.

Instead of resolving this situation, and rescheduling I was treated like this was completely my fault, for wanting to make sure there was enough time to do the delivery and moving required. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of concern or care from Abrams Moving & Storage Co.
