We built a new home and purchased Pella windows and doors. The wrong key inserts for the locks were installed. We have been trying for a year to get them corrected. They have canceled and rescheduled anappointment without notifying us, sent service out with the wrong parts and yesterday service was scheduled to come between 9&11. This was confirmed by Pella the previous day. No one showed up all day and no called us to say why. At 1:00 I began calling the service department to inquire where the tech was. No one answered my calls and no one returned my messages. I began calling 8:00 this morning. Still no one answered from the service department nor did they return any of my calls. I just tried again and before the phone rang someone in service was dialing out. When I finally was able to speak to a person they told me that when the tech went to retrieve the parts in the morning they were no longer there and that they would have to reorder them. We are snowbirds and will be leaving next week. They said that they will not be able to repair them by next week. I would never recommend Pella windows to anyone because of their service department.
