I found this awesome truck at this place. earlier on i had called and spoke to Harold whom sounded like a nice enough old fella. he informed me of the price of this truck, and i had set up a time to meet and take a look. though it was a nice truck, he was trying to get about $5,000 more than the truck had actually blue booked for (high blue book was $5,200, he was asking $9,500!!! WOW!!!!!!) When i had inquired about the lowest offer he would accept CASH (everyone is flexible, except this old man, must be the age, forgive me for the judgement Heavenly Father), the price remained the same. I asked if he knew the blue book value of this truck in which he replied with anger "I DON'T CARE!!!! THE PRICE IS $9,500!!!!!!!!!!! Well thank you sir for showing your true colors. I will NEVER buy a vehicle their, and will advise ANYONE against purchasing from their due to the complete selfishness of the owner Harold Piper. Ripping your neighbors off like that, SIR, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

I bought a 1996 Ford F-350 Powerstroke truck from Harold Piper, the owner of Piper Auto Sales in Rifle, CO, and I am completely dissatisfied! Harold is a crook and rips anyone off that he can!! The truck was a HUGE LEMON and his supposed warranty he offers is a joke. He doesn't honor one bit of it. I brought the truck back to him after paying $4000 on a $10,000 loan because it was either pay $8500 dollars for a new motor/tranny/complete new front end or give it back on his request and the loan, on his word, I would no longer be liable for. He kept the $4000 and I walked away. So I thought! My mistake taking an old crooks word as a man/business man!!!! I bought the truck in 2004 and now in 2012 he is suing my dad and I for $7500 each! He and the judge( dis-honorable Judge Pototski are friends and the judge,with just 14 days from the statute of limitations awarded Mr. Piper the judgement! He said he believed nothing I said and Harold lied under oath stating it was completely totalled. I drove it there and handed him the keys! SO DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM PIPERS AUTO SALES! If you do you'll surely regret it!!!!!
