After arriving at 2:00 to an empty front office and waiting 22 minutes, I was escorted into a nice appearing dental office by a Tammy Duckworth. I work long hours, sometimes only at night for weeks at a time. I have not seen the dentist in over 2 years and I was eagerly awaiting a cleaning. The hygeniest who seemed initially to be in a negative mood proceeded to squash those hopes snidely informing me that I was not in the system since 2016, “you don’t show up for 2 years and now demand a cleaning??”. Apparently choosing to not have my teeth cleaned for 15 months means I am a new patient and I have to get x-rays and have my teeth counted without a cleaning. Tammy proceeded to patronize me for asking to go directly for a cleaning asking what I did for a living (medical)… equating that to a patient asking a doctor for antibiotics for a cold (which does in fact happen every single day). Also, antibiotics have seriously hurt people while a tooth cleaning has only helped. She said her license could be compromised by not xraying me first…. Okay…. Anyways, I will not be coming back here and I could use a good dentist/hygienist in the Brighton/Pittsford area.

I have been a patient of Dr. Somerville ever since he took over the practice. Everyone is so efficient and fast each appointment.

Overall, each visit with Dr. Somerville is painless and efficient.

I am definitely always in and out of the office within a reasonable amount of time.
