- Estate PlanningEileen E. Buholtz received her bachelor of music degree from the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, in 1973 as a clarinet major with a minor in humanities. She obtained her law degree magna cum laude from Syracuse University in 1979. She concentrates her practice in insurance defense litigation, commercial litigation, and in estate planning and administration. Combining these skills, she has successfully litigated several contested estate matters including will contests. She has lectured for the New York State Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association on New York State Labor Law issues including construction site accidents and on trial practice, evidence and ethics. Eileen is past vice-president of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, ( www.wbasny.org ) and serves as on the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section. In 1994 she received awards from the Monroe County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association for her pro bono representation to victims of domestic violence and elder abuse.
