Last year, I was referred to Street Shield by my Social Worker because my car was broken and I had no financial means to fix it. They came to my house, towed my car, diagnosed the issues with the vehicle at the Auto Training Facility.. It was found that my car was not able to be fixed, I was devastated because I had no way to buy another vehicle. The next day, Street Shield donated me a Toyota Camry. It was perfect for my family size and in great running condition. I am still driving the car today and everyday I am thankful for all the people who volunteered to help me out. I would ask that anyone who is considering donating a car to a Charity to consider donating to Street Shield FIRST.. I know that they help people because I am one of them.
