- Dental ExaminationIf needed, we can take a single x-ray that shows all of your teeth without having to put anything in your mouth. No gagging, no uncomfortable films or sensors in your mouth. Dr. Kaminski will then perform a thorough visual oral examination, but without the painful pricks or probes you have experienced in the past. Remember that any uncomfortable or painful parts can be handled while you are asleep. No need for you to force yourself through it.
- X-rays
- Teeth CleaningThis mild inhalation agent also known as laughing gas will provide some relaxation for you. We offer this even for your routine teeth cleanings and other minor procedures to keep all of our patients as comfortable as possible and yes, you can even drive home after your visit.
- Fillings
- CrownsNeither of the above is true. It is well documented in dentistry the difficulty many of you have in getting numb. Dentists are taught 4 or more ways to numb you. Unfortunately even this is not enough for many of you due to variations in jaw anatomy and where your nerves run. While you might get numb enough for a small filling, a deep filling, a crown or root canal could be excruciating. This isn’t your fault but it is your problem. Only deep I.V. sedation general anesthesia can provide the pain relief you need. Oral or minimal sedation cannot (by law) provide pain control for you.  Any dentist that says otherwise is misleading you.
- Bridges
- Root Canal Treatment"Root canal": Pain is associated with these words, the discomfort during the procedure, the multiple appointments. But they all can be safely and predictably treated while asleep. In fact many endodontists refer their patients to Dr. Kaminski to be sedated for root canals. Dr. Kaminski is proud of the fact that these specialists recognize the quality of his care in their area of expertise.
- DenturesDo you need to have teeth extracted, a root canal and fillings? Your treatment can be completed in one session while asleep. Wisdom teeth, pre prosthetic surgery, multiple extractions while inserting a denture or partial all can be treated in our office. You can walk out with the new teeth in your mouth that day!
- Dental Implants
- Oral Surgery
- Pre-prosthetic Surgery
- Gum SurgeryYes, you can be asleep for that deep scraping or gum surgery and instead of 3, 4, or 5 sessions, your periodontal therapy can often be accomplished in a single session. It’s critical to maintain the health of your gums. Your gums can show evidence of disease and can lead to cardiac and other health issues.
- Tooth Extractions
- Teeth Whitening
- Cosmetic DentistryThe same exceptional care and high standards apply to our regular cosmetic dentistry as well. Our sedation patients are so pleased with their treatment that they quickly refer the rest of their family and friends for both sedation and non-sedation dentistry.
