I just moved to the area and have only eaten here once so far. It was very good and I will definitely be going back. The prices are awesome too.

Went here by chance. Loved the food. Authentic and really tasty, great price. Very impressed.

My husband and I ate at Chef Lupe's in Ruidoso on August 6, 2009. We ordered the Rib eye steaks. They were awful. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came to the table very well done. Neither steaks were rib eye, but instead were some other lesser cut of meat, and both were full of fat. My husband only got about 5 bites of steak after cutting off all the fat and I probably got 8 good pieces. The salads were soaking wet with water and consisted of lettuce only. The French fries were so greasy we couldn't eat them. The "biscuits" were simply pieces of toast. We complained to our waitress, but she did not respond. Neither she nor the "manager" appeared to be able to understand our English and they could not understand our Spanish. The waitress actually thanked us after we complained about the quality of the food, as if we were complimenting her. We will never, ever eat there again. This was absolutely the worst place at which we have ever eaten.
