Jess T. Schwidde, a founding partner of the firm Glinka & Schwidde, manages the firm's Rutland, Vermont Office. Mr. Schwidde concentrates in the area of consumer and business bankruptcy law with an emphasis on debtors' and creditors' rights, trustee representation, business restructuring and workouts, debt relief, litigation, and appellate work. Mr. Schwidde was born in Billings, Montana, and graduated from Montana State University, B.A., 1977, having majored in Political Science and minored in Pre-Law, and Temple School of Law, J.D., 1982. Mr. Schwidde has been practicing law in Vermont since 1983 and is admitted to practice in Vermont, the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont, and the Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. His affiliations include American Bankruptcy Institute and Vermont Bar Association. Mr. Schwidde served as Chief Confidential Law Clerk for former Bankruptcy Judge Francis G. Conrad, District of Vermont, from January 1987 to August 1991.
