The company, founded in 1959, is one of the oldest manufacturers of regular and mobile homes in Florida. Its homes are located in retirement living communities and mobile home parks. Jacobsen Homes performs constructions on structurally designed, solid steel and welded frames to provide support in load-bearing areas. The company seals every frame with rust-inhibitive black paint, and uses polyvinyl bottom boards on top of the frame. It also provides fiberglass insulation covering bottom boards, and installs water supply lines and electrical cables. The company also inspects electrical installations for strength, apparatus and continuity, and performs operational and polarity checks. It provides roof trusses and gypsum ceiling boards, and roof sheathing.
