Dr. Witbrodt is a board certified cardiologist. He received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine. He then completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Witbrodt is a general cardiologist and provides and treats arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, dyslipidemias, heart failure, and other general cardiovascular diseases. He has a special interest in exercise and sports cardiology as well as preventative cardiology. He also performs trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE) and exercise stress testing. 'I have a special interest in sports and exercise cardiology. That is; providing cardiac care to athletes and active individuals. This includes patients with both new and previous cardiac complaints/diagnoses that desire to remain living an active lifestyle despite their cardiac illness. This also includes an interest in preventative cardiology as well.' Dr. Witbrodt's practice is part of BJC Medical Group, a well-established, multi-specialty physician group.
