It is a federally qualified health center that works to prevent chronic illness, conduct immunizations and screenings and promote health and well-being of individuals. The center offers medical, dental, vision, behavioral health, nutrition, pharmacy, laboratory, HIV and AIDS counseling and testing services. Family Care Health Centers provides well-baby checks, immunizations and physical examinations. Its internal medicine services include annual physicals, preventive education, tuberculosis screenings, and flu and tetanus shots. The center operates a laboratory that conducts on-site cholesterol, diabetes, anemia, strep, lead and pregnancy tests. Family Care Health Centers accepts Medicaid and Medicare insurance plans.
