Response to complaint about being denied waiting inside for 40 minutes on 108 degree day

Dear Helen,

Please know that operationally, the Tivoli is not allowed to let 'free" screening patrons enter until the theatre is ready to seat. Letting "free" screening patrons in before that time disturbs the patrons who are already watching films.

This applies in all seasons. My best suggestion is that when the weather is too hot or cold, it may be best to not attend the screening.



The Tivoli employees are just following the terms that have been set.

I love seeing movies at the Tivoli - it is a step back in time. I've seen blockbusters and small independent films at the Tivoli...they show it all. And, you can get a great dinner at the restaurants on the Loop after the show. Enjoy!
