Life Changing

Dr. Griffin was excellent to work with. He gave me a clear outline of what needed to be done and I trusted his judgement. My nose has never looked better and best of all I can finally breath! Better sleep, no more headaches and improved memory. I would recommend Dr. Griffin to anyone.

General Info
Dr. Garrett Griffins first love was drawing, and the ability to combine art and science is what attracted him to Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. It is Dr. Griffins firm belief that aesthetic and reconstructive surgery skills are complementary. All cosmetic surgeries must include a reconstructive component to ensure that the results are natural and long-lasting. Likewise, the goal of any facial reconstructive surgery is to fully restore the patients appearance and beauty. Dr. Garrett Griffin attended medical school at the University of Virginia and completed his Head and Neck Surgery training at the University of Michigan. Dr. Griffin then completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Southern California and Cedars-Sinai Hospitals in Beverly Hills, California. During this time, he gained considerable experience in performing aesthetic facial surgery including facelifts, cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), otoplasty, and rhinoplasty. Dr. Garrett Griffin has a passion for caring for patients with Bells palsy and facial nerve injury and trained at the Facial Paralysis Institute during his time in California. He is one of the nations experts in this field and performs the full range of procedures for facial paralysis including hypoglossal- and masseteric-facial nerve substitution and free gracilis muscle transfer. For patients who develop synkinesis (unintended facial movements) after Bells palsy, he combines botulinum toxin injections (Botox Dysport) and, if necessary, precisely-targeted surgery, to maximize facial symmetry and control. Dr. Griffin is the author of numerous book chapters and scientific publications regarding facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and has presented his research at multiple national and international symposia. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and on major local television.
