      JD Health And Wellness Center Inc. (the Wellness Center) is a multi-disciplinary treatment model designed to provide holistic medicine. Holistic medicine looks at an individual's overall physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well-being. Practitioners operating from a holistic approach will treat the symptoms of illness, as well as look for and understand the basic cause of the illness. Holistic medicine also attempts to prevent illness by placing an emphasis on optimizing health by finding and maintaining homeostasis. Holistic treatment is a growing field in western medicine and although our focus will be primarily of this nature, we will also provide traditional allopathic services, with the goal of moving patients towards our holistic vision.

      Description of Services: The Wellness Center will provide services to individuals from ages six and up. Some of the service components such as the chiropractic, naturopathic medicine, general medical, suboxone treatment and mental health will be treatment resources that individuals can utilize to enhance their overall recovery. Furthermore, the Wellness Center will also provide comprehensive chiropractic care. Chiropractic care will deal with acute therapeutic intervention. Wellness programs focusing on promoting health to optimal function and preventative care are designed to reduce the future instances of illness or impairment. We take a forward thinking view of holistic health that is fully compatible with medical care. Our office understands that Chiropractic care can best serve our patients with a full collaboration of our health care disciplinary skills. Chiropractic concentrates on active care that emphasizes a patient's responsibility in their own growth, paired with passive care periodically or during acute stages. Active care usually includes exercise programs, weight loss, dietary counseling, life style adjustments, postural education, mechanical improvements, coordination training, and stretching programs.
