The service was horrible. We were the only 6 people in the restaurant and they were really slow. The portions were not worth the price. I recommend going elsewhere for Japanese food.

Yoshi is a beautiful place . The Sushi Atomic Roll was great as well as the Hibachi Chicken and very affordable,

Our server Rachel was excellent.This is definitely my favorite Japanese Restaurant in Salisbury. I will go back with friends very soon.

I have dined at Yoshi eight times with family and friends and out of town visitors since it opened and every time the food and service get progressively more disappointing. I have now written off Yoshi as a place for either lunch or dinner.



The waiter who serves us most frequently consistently bungles the order, brings items we did not order and omits items we ordered. He never returns to see if everything is satisfactory or to refill drinks. If we ask for extra wasabi or a special sauce, it never comes to the table. We have become so used to his incompetence that we shrug it off. However...



The free-range roll we ordered last night (hibachi chicken in a seaweed/rice roll deep fried) was tepid in the center; the chicken pink. The fried tofu pieces were still sweaty and cold--haveing never gone through the "staging" area (microwave). Our waiter never returned to find out if things were okay.



Although the hibachi steak dinner was well received, both of our out of town visitors who ate it ended up puffy from the msg this morning. If I want sushi in Salisbury, I will be looking for another restaurant to frequent. Yoshi has finally outdone itself in its mediocrity.
