Just had the worst buying experience at the Ken Garff Volvo dealership. Had worked out a price for a Volvo model and just needed to finish up the paperwork. Could not make it into the dealership until today Oct 1 to sign papers. Once there we waited an hour before they came back and told us that the payment would now be 100.00 more per/mo because the incentives had changed now that it was a new month. Why on earth did they not communicate this with me before yesterday??? A simple phone call to say it is important to get this deal wrapped up before the end of the month would have been enough. Sooooo frustrated and felt like I was completely jerked around. The sales staff seem nice enough but the management is totally lacking.

I had an engine replaced at a cost 3,094.00 by a subsidiary of Garff Automotive that failed the same day I picked it up. Their service manager, Darrell Wilson (Ken Graff Automotive Group) acknowledged responsibility by order the replacement engine from Japan Engine after their installed engine totally failed after 300 miles and 1 day; then Marion Palmore "General Manager for Garff Automotive" cancelled the engine. If not for Mr. Palmore���s action and the firing of Mr. Wilson, this matter would have been closed. Even Japan Engine in their letter to me stated ���original purchaser , Garff Automotive - Richmond Toyota, failed to handle this situation properly and we will deal directly with Lucy Huffman to resolve the issue. This was when the Ken Graff Automotive Group owned the dealership. Japan Engine even though they knew ���Ken Graff��� was responsible and stated so in their letter, has provided me an engine for an additional $375.00 and another $1,500 I must now pay Lee Summitt���s Subaru to install.
