      Founded in 1998, Methodist Children's Hospital of South Texas focuses on the health and well being of children. The hospital offers a 24-hour pediatric emergency room and operating suites, neonatal intensive care units and outpatient clinics for children with complex illness. It features blood and marrow stem cell transplant programs that serve children with leukemia, sickle cell anemia and immunodeficiency syndrome. In addition, Methodist Children s Hospital of South Texas offers services for hematology and oncology. It offers clinics for the treatment of cystic fibrosis, craniofacial, brain tumors and movement disorders. The hospital provides treatments for congenital cardiac and thoracic diseases.
