The company rents its distinctive orange U-Haul trucks and trailers, as well as offers self-storage rooms through a network of more than 1,450 company-operated retail-moving centers and over 14,500 independent U-Haul dealers. U-Haul International also has an independent storage facility network with approximately 2,900 active affiliates. It also sells U-Haul brand boxes, tape and other moving and self-storage products and services to do-it-yourself moving and storage customers at all of its distribution outlets and through its Web site. The company is a part of AMERCO, which provides transportation, storage, real estate and insurance services. Headquartered in Phoenix, U-Haul International maintains several locations in San Bernardino, Calif.
