      Excellent Family Doctor

      Len has been my family practitioner for over 10 years. I can't say enough how great Doctor Jurkowski really is. Kind, caring, and knowledgable. I always (well, usually) leave his doctors office happy that I came in. His new office makes it easy. Same day or next day appointments are usually available. And the one time I needed to see him on the weekend while he wasn't available, I saw one of the urgent care physicians and she was great too! I'd highly recommend Len to anyone looking for a family doctor in San Diego.

      Doctor Leonard Jurkowski, commonly known as Len or “Doctor J”, is a knowledgeable, compassionate family practice and internal medicine physician who treats patients in San Diego, California, and the surrounding communities. His patient-centered approach to practice focuses on prevention and patient education. Doctor Jurkowski has over 36 years of experience treating patients as a primary care physician. Originally from Canada, Dr. Jurkowski attended McMaster University where he earned his medical degree and completed his residency training in family medicine. In 1995 he moved to California and began his family practice. Doctor Jurkowski’s is able to provide patient services including as immunizations, treatment of injuries and common illnesses, physical examinations, X-rays, and basic labs. When he is not treating patients, Len enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and volunteering in the Scripps Ranch and La Jolla communities.
